A Jersey City non-profit that offers after school programming for local low-income youth to develop in them skills, talents and desires for their future. Their vision is to surround Jersey City youth with a community that loves, believes in and develops them to set them on a transformative path for the rest of their lives. They do this through After School Centers, where kids can receive tutoring, learn musical instruments, and even become interns who lead others in learning these skills.

New City Kids is opening a new center in Bergen Lafayette, the Rubingh Center. The funds from the Compassion Campaign will go towards renovations and getting it ready to start programming for kids.
