As a church we want to be known not just for what we believe, but for how we love. Throughout scripture there is an active call to show compassion, to care for the poor, to act justly and show mercy. We do this because God has been abundantly compassionate to us. This is why Compassion is one of our core values at Hope. Our desire is to be a beacon of hope to our neighbors and to the nations.

And so every year we come together for the Compassion Campaign to give above and beyond our regular giving to support our local partners and global missions. Generosity is one of the most tangible ways we show compassion. It is the way we say that “all I have, Lord, is yours”

Our goal is to raise $60,000 for our 2025 Compassion Campaign

Those funds will allow us to:

  • Support local partners that are serving the vulnerable in Jersey City.

  • Sustain and strengthen the work of our global partners and their ministries.

TPCC works towards a community with hope and without violence in the Ferris-Triangle Park section of Greenville, a historically under-resourced area of Jersey City. We do this by feeding and clothing our neighbors, and by bringing existing supportive and educational programs to them that would otherwise be financially or geographically inaccessible. We serve as a hub for activism, partnering with local leaders and community members for the betterment of Greenville, and we create events that bring community and neighbors together with joy.

A portion of our goal will go towards TPCC to fund their work in Jersey City in 2026.
