An Invitation to Prayer

Lent is a sacred season of 40 days (excluding Sundays), leading us toward the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection on Easter. It is a time for renewal, reflection, and preparation, modeled after Jesus’ 40 days of fasting in the wilderness (Matthew 4:1-11). Christians throughout history have observed this season with prayer, fasting, and repentance, using this season to draw closer to God.

Join us tomorrow for a time of prayer, reflection and devotion as welcome this sacred season of Lent. It is an invitation to pause and place our entire attention before the only One who can carry our burdens.

There will be two opportunities:

Morning: 7–7:45AM (call 201-687-9365 to be let in)
Evening: 6–6:45PM

Prayer guides will be available. Feel free to come and go as you please, or stay for the entire time if you’d like.
