Gerardo and his wife Elsa are originally from Mexico City and have been married for over 8 years. In Early 2019, God provided a career opportunity for his wife Elsa which brought them to Jersey City. Soon after that, they started attending Hope JC. Gerardo graduated from Grace University (NE) with a bachelor’s in Christian Camping and the Bible, and Elsa is a lawyer but currently working in Human Resources for a worldwide company. As a family, they have been involved in camping and outdoor ministry for over 20 years and they continue to have a passion for it. Gerardo and Elsa are the leaders of the Westside Hope Group. They spend their days discovering new places in Jersey City, and walking around with their dog Vainilla.
